FORUM REGULATIONS

Greetings and welcome to the Valhalla Guild - Demethos Europe MapleStory Forum!

Before you start having fun, please take a minute to read through our Rules of Conduct to ensure an enjoyable visit to a high-quality forum.

GENERAL CONDUCT

Avatars and Signatures

This is for you to display a picture that represents you. Avatars are hosted by the forums but signatures are not. Please keep your signature to an appropriate size. Members with signatures deemed too large (i.e. taking up half the page) will be issued a warning. Also do not have avatars of signature depicting you with Nexon logos. That includes the Nexon company logo, and Game Master’s uniform/GM logo. Avatars or signatures with inappropriate content (foul language, adult material, offensive comments, racism, etc.) may be edited or deleted as deemed necessary.

Respect Others

Opinions are valued on the forums - yours and everybody else’s. Please keep all personal conflicts to yourself and have discussions, not arguments. If you disagree with another member, post your comment calmly so other can understand your point and feelings. Do not insult other members' intelligence. If a member gets on your nerves, do not go out of your way to insult them. Last but not least, treat others like how you want to be treated.

Posting/Thread Duplicating/Spam

When making a thread make sure it is related to the forums. This is a gaming forum and posting once is enough. If you accidentally double post, do not worry about it. There is no need to make another post apologizing. Please make sure to post in the appropriate forums and/or forums subsection. Posting in the wrong section will have your post moved. However, multiple postings of the same thread to get attention (bumping) will result in having all your threads deleted and a temporary suspension for spamming. Posting the same thread across different forums and subsections constitutes as spamming also.

Bumping is tolerated. However, purposely commenting on a thread too much over and over to get attention will have the thread locked/deleted and your forums privileges revoked.

If you have no business on the forums but to make inflammatory posts (aka trolling), you will be banned.


Threads Directed to GMs/Nexon Representatives

The forums are not the place for you to address your issue to a Game Master. This includes questioning your account suspension. GMs and Nexon Representatives do not respond on the forums. It is not their job to do so.

Threads requesting certain players to be banned can be interpreted as user harassment. Please use the in-game report function if you need to report a player for suspicious behavior.


FORUM CONDUCT POLICY

Inappropriate images
This includes images placed in avatars, signatures, and post body that insult players, promote adult behavior and suggestive actions, violence, racism, and/or pornography. Screenshots and images you may think are funny may not be funny to others. Please keep all images G-rated.

Advertisements
Advertising free NX cash websites, hacks, and inappropriate links are not allowed. Posting Nexon fan sites for other members to check out is allowed but spamming/creating multiples threads to advertise the website is not allowed.

Off-topic
Please go to the appropriate forums subsection for what you want to talk about. Spam posts will be removed.

Inappropriate forum ID
Please do appropriate forum ID.

Profanity/Inappropriate language
Inappropriate language (including swearing and adult content) and profanity is not allowed on the forums.

Abuse
Racism, slander/malicious rumors about another player/member, impersonation, flaming/trolling is not tolerated in this foum.
